CALL FOR
ENTRY - DEADLINE MARCH 9, 2002 - "To Your Credit" is a regional
competitive art exhibition sponsored by the art department at Eastern New Mexico
University, Roswell. All media, all styles welcome from artists at all levels of
professional development from student through emerging to established. Artists
living in or working in the Southwestern States of CA, UT, AZ, NV, NM, CO, TX, & OK
plus artists from Chihuahua, Mexico are welcome to enter.
All entries must conform to the exact length
and width of an ordinary credit card. If 2-D, works must be the exact dimensions of
a credit card; if 3-D, works may extend up to 2" in depth from a base that conforms
to the exact dimensions of a credit card. Cash prizes and scholarship awards will be
awarded by juror Edie Tsong, concept artist from Louisiana and Pennsylvania. Exhibit
runs March 21, 2002 - April 20, 2002. Opening reception and awards ceremony: 4 - 6
p.m. on March 21, in the Student Services Building on the campus at ENMU-R, 52 University
Blvd., Roswell, NM. Slide lecture by juror held March 21, 2002 at 7:30 p.m in room
122 of the ASC Building at ENMU-R, same address. Entry fee: $10 general entry;
$5 student entry with photocopy of student id. Don't send slides; send

Reddish Show" is an international competitive art exhibition sponsored by the Globe
Gallery (307 S. Union, Roswell, New Mexico). All media, all styles are welcome
from artists at all levels of professional development, living and working in all parts of
the world. Work entered should in some way explore artists' experiences of the color
red, in any and all varieties and according to any and all interpretations. Prizes totally
$2000 will be awarded by juror Rosemarie Fiore, concept artist from Brooklyn, NY.
Exhibit runs April 1, 2002 - April 30, 2002. Opening reception, April 1, 2002 from 4
- 6 p.m. at the Globe Gallery, 307 S. Union, Roswell, NM. Entry fee: $20 for

world. Work entered should explore the iconography, ideas and/or aspects of beasts,
creatures, critters, either realistically,
symbolically, prophetically, conceptually, or .....? Prizes totally
$2000 will be awarded by juror Jennifer Bower, contemporary painter from Minnesota and New
Mexico.
Exhibit runs May 3, 2002 - May 31, 2002. Opening reception, May 3, 2002 from 4 - 6
